Full-Year Assignments

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conducting English conversation classes for students and teachers
  • Assisting teachers with their English classes and/or jointly conducting them
  • Instructing subject courses in English
  • Preparing teaching materials and activities for English language education
  • Assisting with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities
Placement
  • Primary and secondary public and private schools
  • Universities and Colleges
  • Educational Training Centres
Contract Period
  • One year placements beginning either March or September
  • Contract renewal upon mutual written agreement
  • Unpaid mandatory orientation in some locations prior to contract start date
Eligibility
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Teaching certificate an asset(required for Taiwan)
  • Canadian Citizenship
  • Native speaker of English with international diction

Required Documents
  • All applicants are required to submit the following documents:
    • Completed application form
    • Resume
    • Copy of degree
    • Two signed and sealed reference letters from academic/professional sources
    • Original sealed transcripts
    • Criminal record check
    • Copy of passport photo page (if applicable)
    • Copy of teaching certificate (if applicable)
    • Proof of teaching experience
    • Official medical report
